Unlike other solar films, the R-G solar film will provide a more pleasing and natural Yellow- Orange image of the sun our customers have come to know and love through our Solar Glass Filter product line.

Made with the highest quality products and using the same coating as used in our glass filters; the R-G solar film will give excellent views of sunspots and granulation.

Technical Details:

Material: High quality clear 48 gauge Polymer material with excellent transmission qualities.

Coating: Quality controlled metallic coating on both sides of the film to reduce pinholes and to give an optical density of 5.0 for best possible viewing. This translates to 99.999% of the sunlight being blocked from entering the instruments. (Telescopes, Binoculars & cameras)
